"Anodized A Few Frames"

Hey Kids,
I broke out the Anodizing rig, and did up a few frames.
The picture could have been better, but I was next to the Kitchen sink with the Fluorescent lighting.
The Ti Mini on the bottom still has water in it from the final rinse, that's why it looks a little funky on the inside.
Making progress, Kenn

I am hoping for a reverse ano. if possible...

With Ti drive, and mini cube, it will be a valued part of my collection!

I am looking forward to this great knife. I know a lot of hours went into its planning and creation.

Hey Guys :)
Well for me Gary I am going with a plain type finish as well. That reverse ano is very cool John. I have it on another tool. I also will be getting a Ti mini cube with my knife so I cant wait to get that package hehe.

I look forward to seeing pics from you two!

Jeez,
You guys are like my kids the week before Xmas..."I'm getting the GI Joe with the Kung Fu grip"....lol
I'm hoping to get a slew of them together this weekend. After the 5 last Saturday, I figured out a good way to get the Phosphor Bronze washers in the frame at the same time as the blade. It's a bit tricky being an integral frame to get everything lined up so you can push the pivot through.

Kenn, this makes us feel like kids again (or second childhood which ever is appropriate)LOL! Sorry for my antics just curious about what John and Wes had in mind. Will go and stand in the corner for my timeout............. hehe Gary :>)

Hey Kenn, I realized I've failed to comment on these although I've been following your progress closely. They're looking fantastic! If you ever end up making enough to exceed your current interest list I'd be interested. Regardless, looking forward to your future creations!

McCool009,
Glad you've decided to speak up.
Thanks for the kudos as well.
I would love to be able to make enough to go around, but I'm only one person.
Since I started the knives, I have come up with quite a few other ideas I want to have a go at.
I'm definitely planning on some future knives, and may even make another run of these.
One thing I want to stay away from is another list though. I very flattered, and grateful that folks think enough of my work to have waited on a list for these, but for me it was like a Monkey on my back.
Thank you all once again for your patience.

I totally understand, just thought I'd make sure. I'm definitely more excited to see what new knife designs you come up with after this experience, rather than another run.

Maybe a nice fixed blade!? OK back to my corner!! Gary :>)

McCool009,
No problem, thanks for understanding.

Gary,
I have a few more folder ideas, but I had been thinking of an all Titanium fixed blade with a carbidized edge too. I'm not sure if I want to deal with making the Kydex sheaths though.

McCool009 said...

I vote for more folders. ;)

Heheh...I like the folders myself;)

Kenn you and Peter both don't really want to make sheaths!! A folder sounds great to me! Looking forward to see what you come up with!!!! Gary :>)
