If you've perused this page in depth you may have seen a few early Lanterns made from Hexagonal stock. While I always thought those few were cool they were huge, and not too friendly for carrying. Time went by, and I kinda forgot about them. Lately however, I seen a few pics of those old Lanterns here & there, and decided to make a run of pocket friendly Hex "O" Lights.
These are made of 360 Series Brass measuring .375 over the flats x .425 over the points, and 1.343 long.
Post machining, I tumbled the heck out of these to give them a nice antiqued look.
All six hex flats have been drilled, and recessed slotted for plenty of vial viewing.
These feature a 3mm * 23mm Self Lighting Gas Vial in Green, or Ice Blue, SS split ring, and use a #8-32 socket set screw for captivation of the vial. The set screw has been drilled through for additional viewing of the vial.
Please be aware the SLGV's are installed, and the Lanterns have been packaged up for shipping, so what color you receive will be a surprise.
